RADIO BENCH END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
Last updated 2 August 2026
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and DOFTI PTY LTD ("we", "us"), and governs your use of the Radio Bench desktop application, documentation, bundled components, and updates ("Radio Bench"). The installer asks you to accept this Agreement before installation or use. If you do not agree, do not install or use Radio Bench.
1. Licence
Subject to payment or a valid trial grant, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Radio Bench for your own purposes, within the activation limit stated at purchase. Radio Bench is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights not expressly granted here.
2. Activation and updates
Radio Bench requires online activation, using the email address from your purchase. Once activated, a paid licence works offline and needs no ongoing online validation. Trial licences end at their stated expiry. Moving a licence to a different device may require deactivating another device first, and replacing a device you can no longer access may be limited to the allowance stated in the app.
We may make updates available at our discretion. Updates published during the update and support period stated at purchase are included; further periods may be sold separately. Your licence, and updates already eligible under it, continue to work after that period ends.
3. Restrictions
You must not:
- share, publish, sell, or resell your licence, sign-in codes, or activated entitlements;
- activate more devices than your licence permits;
- copy, redistribute, rent, sublicense, or make Radio Bench available to third parties;
- circumvent licence activation, validation, or update verification; or
- remove copyright, attribution, or licence notices.
These restrictions do not limit rights you have under law or under third-party component licences.
4. Third-party components and services
Radio Bench includes and works with third-party components and services. Bundled components remain under their own licences, described in the third-party notices included with the app. Third-party service terms apply to services you configure or use through Radio Bench.
5. Radio operation and connected equipment
Radio Bench can control radio hardware and may key transmitters or generate transmit audio. It does not grant authority to transmit, enforce band edges, or replace your regulatory obligations. You are responsible for lawful operation, correct configuration, connected equipment, drive levels, and supervision of transmit activity.
Radio Bench is not designed for safety-of-life use, and its spectrum, waterfall, and signal-level displays are not calibrated measurement instruments.
6. Privacy and local data
Radio Bench sends no telemetry, analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports to us. Network connections are limited to licensing, updates, services you configure or use, and ordinary connections needed by those services. The privacy page has more detail.
Your logbook, settings, recordings, and local licence files live on your device. They are yours, and you are responsible for backups.
7. Consumer rights, warranty, and liability
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Refunds are handled under the refund policy and the terms presented at checkout.
To the extent permitted by law, Radio Bench is provided as-is and as-available. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost contacts, regulatory penalties, or damage to connected equipment, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.
